Role & responsibilities

A Learning and Development (L&D) Executive is a strategic leadership role focused on designing and implementing learning solutions to enhance employee skills and organizational performance. They play a key role in aligning learning initiatives with business goals, fostering a culture of continuous development, and ensuring employees are equipped to meet current and future needs.

Key Responsibilities of an L&D Executive:

  • Strategic Planning:

Developing and executing a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

  • Needs Analysis:

Identifying learning needs across the organization through assessments and analysis to determine required skills and knowledge gaps.

  • Program Design and Delivery:

Creating and implementing various learning programs, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training, to address identified needs.

  • Training Evaluation:

Measuring the effectiveness of learning initiatives and making adjustments to optimize results and ensure a positive return on investment.

  • Training Coordination :

Collaborating with external vendors and consultants to deliver specialized training programs.

  • Change Management:

Supporting organizational changes through targeted learning interventions.

Key Skills for an L&D Executive:

Ability to align learning initiatives with business goals and anticipate future needs.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Effectively communicating with various stakeholders, including senior management, employees, and external partners.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum Experience required 3 to5 years and experience in pharma would be an added advantage
