Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting the engineering team in securing orders and ensuring smooth project execution in Power System solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing design support to the Sales and tendering team during the Pre-Bid stage. - Attending customer meetings. - Detailed design work during project execution. - Leading a team of engineering managers. In terms of qualifications, you must have a B.E. Electrical degree from a reputed college like NIT / REC / Equivalent. Additionally, having an ME / M Tech / MBA degree would be beneficial. For the job experience, you should have at least 15 to 20 years of overall experience with thorough knowledge in: 1. Electrical System Design Calculations such as Cable Sizing, Earthing & Lightning Protection, Battery Sizing, Illumination Calculation, and Fault Level Calculation in E Tap. 2. Preparation of Electrical Design Layout Drawings related to Equipment Layout, Cabling System layout, Earthing Layout, and Lighting Layout. 3. Proficiency in operating Autocad is preferred. 4. Strong communication skills, convincing abilities, analytical approach, and innovative ideas are essential. 5. Capability to identify Design Risks associated with Electrical Power Substation and Automation projects. 6. Ability to prepare Material Requisition and Technical Specification of different components of Electrical Power Distribution System. In terms of competencies required, you must be: - Well conversant with Substation and Automation Project bid engineering & detail engineering for medium and large projects. - Competent in performing System Study (Load Flow, Short Circuit & Relay Co-ordination) through E-Tap Software. - Have a well interactive attitude to deal with customers on techno-commercial aspects of projects. - Strong in communication, convincing abilities, analytical approach, and innovative ideas.
