About the Role:

S-VYASA Deemed to be University invites applications for the position of Lead – Technology & Innovation Research at the School of Advanced Studies.

This role is designed for high-potential IIT graduates and early-career professionals who aspire to build leadership careers in technology-driven research, innovation, consulting, and entrepreneurship within a globally emerging university ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Academic Engagement

• Support faculty and departments in teaching, curriculum design, and delivery of technology-focused programs
• Assist in developing innovative, experiential, and technology-enabled learning methodologies
• Mentor students in academic projects, laboratories, and applied learning initiatives

Research & Publications

• Conduct academic and applied research aligned with the university’s strategic focus areas
• Contribute to peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and white papers
• Support interdisciplinary and breakthrough research initiatives
• Assist in proposal writing for externally funded research projects

Consulting & Industry Collaboration

• Participate in consulting and advisory projects with industry, institutions, and public-sector organizations
• Translate research outcomes into practical, scalable solutions
• Support executive education programs and institutional collaborations

Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Funded Projects

• Foster an entrepreneurial and innovation mindset among students and academic teams
• Support incubation, startup development, and technology commercialization initiatives
• Coordinate with government organizations, funding agencies, and research bodies for grants and sponsored projects
• Assist in managing funded research projects and ensuring compliance

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs)

Specializations

• Computer Science, Information Technology
• AI / Machine Learning, Data Science
• Cybersecurity, Emerging Technologies or allied domains

Experience

• Fresh IIT graduates, or
• 2–3 years of relevant research or professional experience

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical and analytical capabilities
• Research aptitude and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, industry partners, and government agencies
• Interest in interdisciplinary work, innovation, and entrepreneurship

Compensation

• Fresh Graduates: ₹1.0 – ₹1.5 Lakhs per month
• 2–3 Years Experience: ₹2.0 – ₹2.5 Lakhs per month
• (Compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience)
