Lead Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer at Gurucul, you will be responsible for creating technically robust content such as white papers, datasheets, blogs, product documentation, training guides, RFP/RFI responses, spec sheets, website content, and webinars. Your role will involve developing thought leadership technical content by conducting market research, competitive analysis, and engaging with channel partners and clients. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing engaging communications that effectively convey key messages - Simplifying technical information and complex cybersecurity concepts into user-friendly content to promote awareness and adoption of Gurucul products - Writing, reviewing, and editing content for various digital platforms and marketing requests - Planning and creating documentation to educate customers on Gurucul's products and solutions - Maintaining consistent writing style standards and guidelines - Building expertise on specific products and recommending best practices - Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other team members to understand technology and audience needs - Creating documentation based on customer scenarios and feedback - Proposing innovative ways to expand awareness through communications Qualifications required for this role: - Degree or certification in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience - Technical writing experience in cybersecurity topics, especially in SIEM, DLP, IAM, Security Analytics, SOAR, risk management, big data / data lake, etc. - Familiarity with machine learning in the context of cybersecurity - 5-8 years of experience in technical documentation, preferably for enterprise or SaaS software - Ability to research and write documentation for complex products - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on technical documentation for audiences like security operations analysts, IT professionals, engineers, or data scientists - Proficiency in tools for creating, managing, and publishing documentation - Strong attention to detail - Experience working remotely with distributed teams If you are passionate about creating impactful technical content and have the required qualifications and experience, Gurucul offers a Full-time position with a salary based on DOE.
