Lead Software Engineer

Job Characteristics: Leads software development projects through the phase gate process. Leads requirements gathering efforts of the software team to ensure that customer and divisional needs are met. Manages interactions between team & stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration. Writes code to address challenging aspects of the project. Writes the standard documentation used to translate project needs into software design specifications. Assists in creating overall architecture for various software systems. Corrects challenging defects found through QA software testing and systems testing. Supports field test personnel after development with issues not addressed by software engineers in lower levels. Often coaches and advises other engineers. May oversees external contractors and consultants. Assists in defining the process by which software is designed and developed. Activities ensure that software development projects progress properly, and result in quality software that meets customer and divisional expectations.
Education: B Tech or equalient

Skills :

• 8+ years of overall experience with at least 6+ years in Salesforce Marketing/Sales & Service technologies.
• Extensive knowledge ofData Cloudcapabilities, includingdata ingestion, data modelling, segmentation, and activation.
• Experience with data ingestion pipelines and data transformation techniques.
• Strong understanding of data modelling principles and the ability to design andimplement complex data models.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce Data Cloud implementations.
• Experience withJavaScript,SSJS(server side),HTML, and CSSfor customizations and integrations.
• Proficiency inApexandLWCfor customization and development within Salesforce.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data,AMPScript, REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events.
• Deep understanding of website personalization usingMarketing Cloud Personalizationincludingsitemapdevelopment.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to optimize campaigns for better performance.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
• Familiarity withSDLC methodologiesincluding requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Salesforce certifications preferred(e.g., Platform Developer I, II, App Builder,Data Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Administrator,Marketing Cloud Personalization Specialist)
