Lead - QS & Estimation

Job Description

Responsibilities Lead and supervise the QS and estimation team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of cost estimates and budgets. Develop and implement cost control procedures to monitor project expenses and prevent overruns. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and specifications. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment. Review and analyze contractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements. Conduct regular site visits and assessments to validate quantities and monitor project progress. Provide cost advice and value engineering solutions to optimize project costs without compromising quality. Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports on project cost performance and variances. Participate in project meetings and presentations to discuss cost-related issues and provide recommendations. Stay updated on industry trends, market rates, and regulations related to construction costs.
