Job Title: Lead QA/QC Engineer

Reporting To: Project Manager / Quality Head

Job Summary:

The Lead QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for leading the quality management system at the Pune project site, ensuring all construction activities meet ISO 9001 standards, CPWD specifications, and project quality requirements. The role involves supervising site quality activities, conducting audits, and managing client documentation efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all QA/QC functions at the Pune site as per approved Quality Plans and Procedures.
• Conduct internal quality audits in compliance with ISO 9001 (must be a qualified internal auditor).
• Monitor and implement quality assurance processes throughout project execution.
• Ensure adherence to CPWD specifications and relevant Indian Standards for building works.
• Perform and supervise field and laboratory tests including:
• Sand Replacement Method
• TMT Rolling Margin Test
• PQC (Pavement Quality Concrete) Method
• Review and maintain inspection and testing records, calibration logs, and QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for all quality-related matters.
• Identify non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and ensure closure.
• Train and guide site engineers and quality personnel in QA/QC procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports for client submission.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years of relevant QA/QC experience, OR
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 13 years of relevant QA/QC experience.
• Must have hands-on experience in CPWD building construction projects.
• Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 (mandatory).
• Sound understanding of construction quality standards, testing methods, and documentation systems.

Key Skills:

• Expertise in Sand Replacement Method, TMT Rolling Margin, and PQC Method.
• Strong leadership and execution skills at the site level.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in quality documentation and client handling.,l;lpop
• Thorough knowledge of QA/QC standards, IS codes, and project specifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
