Job Description

The Lead QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of the Unified Platform built on

React (frontend)

and

Django (backend

. The role involves validating data pipelines, APIs, and live dashboards that display AI-driven insights from multiple real-time sources.

Responsibilities-

Quality Engineering & Test Leadership: Define and implement end-to-end QA strategy for UI, API, backend, platform, and integrations and Lead functional, regression, integration, security, and performance testing activities.
Automation Framework Ownership: Build and enhance automation frameworks for Selenium/ Playwright (React UI) and API automation (Django-based APIs). Reduce regression cycle time by maximizing automation coverage.
Release Quality Governance: Ensure all sprint releases, patches, and production go-lives meet quality benchmarks. Validate stability of features integrated with Big Data pipelines, AI modules, and platform operations.
Defect Management & RCA: Lead defect triage, prioritization, and RCA-driven continuous improvement to ensure all critical defects are resolved before deployment.
AI Workflow Validation: Ensure end-to-end validation of data ingestion to data visualization workflows
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Team: Work closely with Platform Engineering, AI Engineering, Software Engineering, and delivery teams to support production go-live validations.
Documentation & Compliances: Maintain test plans, test cases, release notes, and QA compliance documents and ensure standardization of QA processes and audit readiness.

Requirement-

5 years
of experience in QA and Test Automation.
Experience leading QA cycles for enterprise platforms.
Selenium / Playwright / Cypress for React UI testing
Postman, Newman for API testing
Python for Django backend validation
Git, CI/CD pipelines
JIRA or equivalent test management tool
Expertise in defect RCA, risk-based testing, and quality metrics
Understanding of Agile/Scrum testing processes.
Strong UI + API automation background (React + Django environment preferred).
Ability to guide junior QA engineers and own release-level quality.
