Responsibilities:

• Design and develop OSP fiber-optic networks as per project requirements
• Lead a team of Fiber Engineers supporting multiple US clients.
• Gather requirements from clients, provide technical explanations and act as communication lead.
• Must be flexible to work in different timings to provide overlap with US clients in different time zones.
• Offer explanations on business requirements and advise team members on the application of industry best practices.

Expertise Needed:

• Experience in FTTX/ FTTP Planning and designing of several fiber networks and scopes.
• Experience on network design applications like AutoCAD, 3-GIS, ArcGIS
• Excellent verbal and written skills for inter-organizational and external customer communications.
• Experience with making independent decisions based on policies, practices and project requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or equivalent is a MUST.
• Minimum 5 years of experience is required
• Strong computer skills (databases, processes and administrative) and ability to CAD with comprehensive knowledge and skill for more complex applications to include Word, Excel, AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS/ESRI, ICGS, 3GIS, Google Earth, etc.
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Minimum 4 years as an Outside Plant Engineer.
• AT&T Aramis experience is a plus.
