Job Description

JOB Summary

We are seeking a qualified Lead Process Engineer with over 15 years of experience in EPC, FEED, and process design for large-scale industrial projects.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the oil & gas, petrochemical, water treatment, and chemical sectors, with a strong command of engineering standards, process simulation tools, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities :

Lead the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and process simulations using tools like Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, or equivalent.
Oversee FEED, conceptual, and detailed design phases for EPC projects.
Review and validate process designs from contractors and licensors to ensure alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
Conduct process safety reviews including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and participate in model and layout reviews.
Perform techno-economic analysis, equipment sizing, and selection for critical process units.
Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads, and clients to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
Guide and mentor junior process engineers, ensuring technical excellence and knowledge transfer.
Resolve technical issues during design, engineering, and commissioning phases.
Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).

Technical and Industry Experience:

Proven track record in oil & gas (upstream / midstream / downstream) , petrochemical, and water treatment projects.
Expertise in process simulation, hydraulic calculations, and control philosophy.
Strong understanding of international engineering codes and safety standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Exposure to greenfield and brownfield projects.

Skills & Requirements :

Bachelors/master s degree in chemical or equivalent.
15 plus years of experience in in process engineering within EPC and FEED environments.
Good knowledge of software tools ASPEN, UniSim, DWSim etc.
Problem solving skills.
Knowledge of integration between process units.
Proficient in MS Office suite products like excel, power point, word.
