Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with a strong background in Java, ATG or Fluent Commerce, and Spring Boot to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for our e-commerce clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, ATG/Fluent Commerce, and Spring Boot.

• Build scalable, event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka, MQ, and AWS Lambda.

• Manage and optimize databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, and DynamoDB.

• Integrate systems using tools such as App Connect, IIB, and Fluent/ATG.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.

• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Mandatory Skills

• Java (Java 8+) – Advanced proficiency with at least 8 years of experience

• ATG or Fluent Commerce – Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with either platform

• Spring Boot & Microservices Architecture – Proven experience designing and developing microservices

• Messaging Systems – Proficient in Kafka and MQ integration

• Database Management – Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB

• Cloud & Serverless – Strong knowledge of AWS Lambda

• CI/CD – Hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD

• Communication Skills – Excellent written and verbal English

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Oracle databases

• Familiarity with IBM App Connect and IBM Integration Bus (IIB)

• Understanding of e-commerce domain best practices

• Exposure to DevOps practices and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
