Role Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in SP3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD, to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in developing electrical layouts and designs for large-scale EPC projects , with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and modify electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), grounding, lighting, and cable routing drawings for industrial and infrastructure EPC projects. Prepare 3D electrical models using SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) and ensure integration with other disciplines. Create and revise 2D drawings using MicroStation and AutoCAD in accordance with project requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, civil, instrumentation) to ensure design compatibility. Interpret engineering specifications, standards, and client requirements to deliver high-quality design packages. Participate in design reviews, resolve technical issues, and support project delivery schedules. Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, and other relevant standards. Provide support during construction and commissioning phases when needed. Key Skills & Competencies Proficiency in SP3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD for electrical design. Strong understanding of EPC project workflows and deliverables. Experience with layout development, equipment arrangement, cable tray routing, and earthing systems. Familiarity with international electrical standards and codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design within EPC or engineering consultancy environments.
