Lead HSE

le & responsibilities

1. Establish and maintain a safe working environment at the hydrogen manufacturing and testing facility by implementing an effective Safety Management System (SMS).

2. Collaborate with Head Corporate HSE to deploy and monitor safety initiatives across Thermax Ltd, Green Hydrogen Business.

3. Coordinate and conduct safety audits, inspections, and compliance checks at facility and project sites.

4. Work closely with site/unit safety coordinators to ensure effective implementation of safety programs.

5. Support Head Corporate HSE and Operations Head in timely preparation, analysis, and reporting of safety statistics and incident data.

6. Plan, organize, and deliver safety training programs for the Green Hydrogen team to enhance awareness and compliance with safety practices

Preferred candidate profile

A.

1. Strong knowledge of safety-related statutory regulations, codes, and standards.
2. Proficiency in risk management techniques such as HAZID, JHA, and QRA.
3. Expertise in conducting accident investigations, safety audits, and inspections.
4. Ability to prepare and present timely and accurate HSE reports.
5. Effective skills in designing and delivering HSE training programs
6. Working experience in oil and gas specifically having exposure of Hydrogen generation& storage as safety engineer or safety officer.

1. Support line management in implementing safety requirements and prioritizing safety initiatives for effective and safe operations.

2. Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.

3. Identify key operational safety risks and perform risk assessments for activities at factory and project sites.

4. Participate in safety studies such as HAZOP, HAZID, and ensure implementation of safety requirements arising from these studies.

5. Coordinate with different units to prepare and submit regular HSE management reports.

6. Facilitate timely incident reporting, lead investigations, and ensure closure of recommendations.

7. Plan and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors to strengthen safety culture
