Lead HSE

As a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Specialist, your role involves positively influencing Company and contractors personnel to manage their activities safely and in line with Reliance Expectations. You will be responsible for achieving continuous improvement in safety performance, aiming to eliminate or reduce injuries and incidents. Additionally, you will support the Projects Function in maintaining and improving the Operating Management System. Your key responsibilities include: - Fostering a positive HSE culture across the Projects organization - Supporting Projects in driving HSE performance improvements - Assisting line functionaries in implementing and improving the Operating Management System - Monitoring and assisting in completing corrective action items against scheduled plans - Helping in implementing critical HSE processes such as incident management, emergency management, risk management, hazard identification, ALARP demonstration, control of work, management of change, and contractor HSE management in the Projects organization - Providing HSE support on all phases of the project life cycle including engineering, installation, and commissioning activities - Participating in PSSR activities with O&M and Projects team during start-up and commissioning - Coordinating the conducting of various HSE workshops for different project phases - Reviewing technical safety documents and HSE workshop reports to ensure compliance with Company and Regulatory requirements In terms of skills and competencies, you should be proficient in HSE risk management tools and techniques such as ESSA, HAZID, HITRA, ENVID, HAZOP, LOPA, bow tie analysis, and QRA. You should also have experience in being part of OMS implementation for any function. Qualifications required for this role include an Engineering degree and/or equivalent professional qualification in Safety/Fire. Additionally, you should have at least 12 to 15 years of overall experience in petroleum development project activities, with a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in HSE.
