Role Overview: As an experienced Electrical Head/Lead in the fertilizer industry, you will be responsible for leading the electrical engineering function of a major project. With 25-30 years of experience in FEED, detailed engineering, project execution, and commissioning for large-scale industrial projects, you will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage teams through all project phases. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the electrical engineering scope from concept to commissioning. - Review and oversee FEED, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. - Manage detailed engineering activities with internal teams and EPC consultants. - Prepare, review, and approve technical documents including SLDs, load lists, power system studies, and design drawings. - Evaluate and select electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and UPS systems. - Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC, IS, and other relevant codes. - Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation, and Process teams for system integration. - Support procurement with technical bid evaluations, FATs, and vendor inspections. - Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning. - Participate in HAZOPs, model reviews, and safety assessments. - Ensure cost control, schedule adherence, and quality compliance. - Mentor and guide electrical engineers to build team capability. Qualifications: - B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (M.Tech preferred). - 25-30 years of experience in large industrial projects (fertilizer, petrochemical, chemical, or similar). - Experience in EPC projects including FEED, detailed design, and commissioning. - Strong knowledge of power systems, substation design, protection systems, and electrical safety. - Proficiency in ETAP, DIALux, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc., preferred.
