As Lead Engineer Technology Command Centre Specialist, you will manage a team responsible for monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure and application operations to ensure the availability and performance of critical business platforms. Your role involves proactive incident management, effective communication during bridge calls, and collaboration with support teams to ensure timely incident resolution. Experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and Splunk is essential for maintaining optimal system performance. Your team will support UK and India business operations, with extended coverage for Asia Pacific regions, requiring flexibility in working hours in a 24/7 model. Ensuring a balanced roster to meet business needs while prioritizing work-life balance for team members is crucial for productivity and job satisfaction. In this role, team management skills are key, leading 24x7 monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization. You will coordinate efforts during IT incidents, analyze alerts, collaborate with infrastructure teams, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement through process optimization and automation tools. Strong communication, engagement, and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective coordination with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about leading a motivated team, adaptable to fast-paced environments, curious to learn and develop technical skills, collaborative yet self-motivated, taking ownership of tasks, and able to challenge and speak up when needed. A Bachelor's degree in science, Information Technology, or related field, along with 7+ years of technology work experience and proficiency in monitoring tools are required.
