Lead Developer

You will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of applications using Rust, React, and Python. This includes managing database schema design, optimization, and integration with SQL/NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redis. Collaboration with the Cloud and Platform Engineering team will be essential to integrate development solutions with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Leading a team of developers, you will be expected to foster innovation and technical excellence. Defining and enforcing development best practices, coding standards, and version control strategies will be a key part of your role. It is crucial to ensure the scalability and performance of applications through robust architectural practices. Driving the implementation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes is also a significant aspect of this position. Additionally, conducting code reviews and effectively managing technical debt are essential responsibilities. To excel in this role, you must possess expertise in Rust, React, and Python development environments. A strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and query optimization techniques is required. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with cloud-native architectures are also essential. Knowledge of microservices, API integration, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial. Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and managing development teams, is a must. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this position. A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Experience with GraphQL or REST API design, familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools, knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Jest), and exposure to AI/ML integration within applications are additional qualifications that would be advantageous. This position is based in Ahmedabad and requires 7-15 years of relevant experience.
