Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts for tractor and agri. equipment spare parts and lubes using historical data, sales trends, market intelligence, and seasonality.
  • Collaborate with dealers, regional sales, service teams and suppliers to capture demand signals and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor forecast performance (Forecast Accuracy, Fill Rate, Inventory Turns, Back Order) and implement corrective actions.
  • Implement and leverage digital systems [like Synchron, I Planner etc.], big data, and analytics for predictive demand planning.

Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Develop sourcing strategies for critical spare parts & lubes to ensure cost competitiveness, quality, and on-time availability.
  • Identify and develop alternate/local suppliers to reduce dependency and lead time.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for favorable terms, pricing, and service-level agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs (OTIF On Time in Full, Quality, Cost) and improve supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop suppliers to localise value innovative products by collaborating with the product development team for performance analysis of new products example K3R.

Warehouse & Inventory Operations Support

  • Support central /regional warehouse operations for spare parts, ensuring efficient inbound, storage, and managing inflow of material.
  • Implement inventory optimization strategies to balance service levels and working capital.
  • Ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency in supply chain related activities of warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners for timely inbound supplies.
  • Analysis nonmoving inventory status and lead action to reduce it by collaborative sales, warehouse, finance team.

Process Excellence & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Lead S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process for spare parts and lubes.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Operations, Service, Finance, and Sales to align supply plans with business goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement in demand planning, sourcing, and warehousing processes.
  • Introduce KPIs, dashboards, and regular review mechanisms.
