As a Data Scientist at our company, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive business decisions and innovations. Here is a breakdown of what your responsibilities will entail: - Identify relevant data sources and combine them effectively to extract valuable insights. - Automate data collection processes to streamline operations. - Pre-process both structured and unstructured data for further analysis. - Manage and analyze large volumes of information to create inputs for analytical models. - Develop predictive models and machine-learning algorithms, including innovative Machine Learning and Deep Learning approaches. - Utilize techniques like building Network graphs, NLP, and Forecasting Models. - Construct data pipelines to provide end-to-end solutions. - Offer solutions and strategies to address business challenges. - Collaborate with product development teams and effectively communicate with Senior Leadership. - Actively participate in problem-solving sessions to drive continuous improvement. In order to excel in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or Operations Research, or equivalent experience. - Extensive background in machine learning and algorithms, with deep expertise in Gen AI and NLP techniques. - Proficiency in supervised and unsupervised learning methods, reinforcement learning, deep learning, Bayesian inference, and network graph analysis. - Advanced knowledge of NLP methods, including text generation, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and language modeling. - Strong mathematical skills, including statistics, linear algebra, and probability, applied in Gen AI and NLP solutions. - Proven problem-solving skills using NLP and Gen AI tools for real-world business challenges. - Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information, especially related to Gen AI and NLP, to non-technical stakeholders. - Fluency in at least one data science or analytics programming language like Python, R, or Julia, with expertise in NLP and Gen AI libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or OpenAI. - Start-up experience is a plus, along with 5-8 years of advanced analytics experience in startups or renowned companies, particularly in roles focusing on Gen AI and NLP for product or business innovations.
