Lead Data Analyst

Job Roles and Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Provide guidance on data analysis techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
• Oversee workload distribution and ensure timely project delivery.
• Drive client meetings with data-driven insights and observations on key metrics
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and Translate business requirements into understanding key KPIs that can help guide decision making
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Define requirements for business dashboards.
• Pull out real-time business metrics from transactional systems/data-warehouses and understand the trends/drivers of those metrics.
• Lead and participate in daily stand-up meetings to continuously assess data needs and deliver those.
• Design and maintain Advanced dashboards that enables deeper insights, track key performance indicators (KPIs) across various business functions

Skills :

• Expert understanding of exploratory analysis and statistical techniques and skilled in finding important patterns and trends in the data.
• Strong problem-solving skills (ability to translate a business ask into a very concrete question and then breakdown it down into important analysis)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior-level management regarding the implementation of changes
• Meticulous attention to detail for accurate data analysis and reporting
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Analysis/Product Analyst function in a Product org or a client facing role
• Bachelor s degree in either Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field from a reputable university
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases
• Knowledge of ETL processes, and data warehousing principles
• Expertise in using visualization tools such as Tableau & Power BI (Must Haves).
• Ability to understand the technology stack, dependencies between applications and how the data flows between them.
