Lead Credit (Commercial Vehicle Segment)

Commercial Vehicle (CV) Credit function

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end
credit underwriting and approval
for Commercial Vehicle & Fleet Loans
Define and implement
credit policies, risk frameworks, and underwriting standards
Evaluate complex CV loan proposals through
financial analysis, cash-flow assessment, and risk grading
Monitor portfolio performance, delinquency trends, and early warning signals to maintain asset quality
Partner closely with business, risk, operations, legal, and collections teams
Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing credit team
Ensure compliance with
RBI guidelines
, internal policies, and audit requirements

Eligibility Criteria

Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
8–15 years of overall experience in
Credit Risk / Underwriting
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Commercial Vehicle Loan Credit
, preferably fleet financing
Experience with NBFCs, Banks, or Financial Institutions is essential

Key Skills Required

Strong expertise in
Commercial Vehicle & Fleet Credit underwriting
Excellent financial statement and cash-flow analysis skills
Deep understanding of CV industry dynamics, asset risks, and borrower profiles
Credit policy formulation, portfolio monitoring, and risk mitigation
Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
