Role Summary / Purpose

The Lead Counselling & Student Awareness leads the Counselling and Outreach function for the city, focusing on IMSs PG & UG programs. This role involves formulating and executing outreach strategies, leading student awareness campaigns, driving admissions, and improving program visibility and brand positioning. The role directly contributes to revenue achievement, brand equity, and market share expansion for the city by counselling students.

Role Scope & Accountability

  • Lead and execute go-to-market strategies to meet admission and revenue targets for PG & UG programs.
  • Design and drive student outreach initiatives to increase visibility and awareness of IMS offerings across the city.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with external academic institutions through engagement activities and events.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to streamline operations and ensure timely project execution.

Outcomes Expected (within first 612 months)

  • Achieve or exceed city-level admission and revenue targets for Management Studies programs.
  • Establish IMS as a recognized and preferred brand among prospective students and partner institutes.
  • Build a robust outreach engine with strong execution, efficient team collaboration, and impactful campaigns.
  • Ensure operational smoothness through well-designed and executed processes and strategies.
  • Develop long-term institutional relationships through events, workshops, and sustained engagement.

Qualification / Competencies Required (Must-Have)

  • Education:

    MBA / PGDBA
  • Experience:

    Proven track record in Business Development & Leadership (BD&L), preferably in a student acquisition or outreach Or Counselling role.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking with ownership mindset and comfort in digital collaboration platforms.

Desirable Competencies

  • Education:

    MBA / PGDBA from a top-tier B-School.
  • Experience:

    Prior experience in the higher education industry.
  • Exposure to brand building and multi-stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ability to foster inclusiveness and challenge conventional thinking.

Work Conditions

  • Work Timings:

    Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Weekly Off:

    All Sundays
  • Leave Policy:

    30 days leave + 14 holidays annually
