Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution

  :
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing on software applications.
  
• Perform manual and automated testing based on project requirements.
  

• Bug Identification and Reporting

  :
• Identify, document, and track defects, inconsistencies, and other issues in the software.
  
• Provide detailed descriptions of defects and assist developers in reproducing and resolving them.
  

• Collaboration with Teams

  :
• Work closely with software developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and project objectives.
  
• Participate in meetings and reviews to improve test coverage and product quality.
  

• Test Documentation

  :
• Maintain detailed records of testing activities, including test execution results, defect logs, and test coverage reports.
  
• Update and refine test cases based on feedback and changes in software requirements.
  

• Test Automation (Optional)

  :
• Assist in the development or execution of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
  
• Ensure automation scripts are maintained and updated as the software evolves.
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills

  :
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, LoadRunner, etc.
  
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) can be beneficial.
  
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  

• Analytical Skills

  :
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in software behavior.
  
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into test cases.
  

• Communication Skills

  :
• Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal.
  
• Ability to document test results and bug reports effectively.
  

• Experience

  :
• Previous experience in software testing or quality assurance is preferred.
  
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools is a plus.
  

• Certifications (Optional)

  :
• ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification or similar is a plus.
  

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
