Job Description

As a Lead Content Strategy Analyst at Mastercard, you will be an integral part of the Content Strategy and Development (CS&D) team dedicated to providing customers and stakeholders with the necessary technical and operational information. Your primary goal will be to enhance the impact of content by ensuring it is delivered to the right audience, in the right format, and at the right time. By collaborating closely with business partners, you will gain insights into customer needs and effectively communicate timely, high-quality information across various media platforms and languages. Your responsibilities will include creating and disseminating technical content and publications related to Mastercard's products and services. This will involve managing the entire content publishing process for online, mobile, and print formats. Additionally, you will play a key role in researching, evaluating, and implementing new processes and technologies to improve content delivery methods. As part of your role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and Business/Product Owners to develop original content and update existing technical materials. Your accountability will extend to overseeing multiple projects within the technical writing function, ensuring adherence to CS&D writing standards, and managing the day-to-day delivery of online content through various channels. Your expertise in tools like XML or markdown will be essential for content creation and editing. You will be responsible for publishing technical content across different platforms and output types, including PDF, HTML, Wikis, and online help files. Your role will also involve analyzing requirements, contributing to process improvement solutions, providing training to new hires, and mentoring peers. Additionally, you will participate in daily project intake assessments and contribute to enhancing documentation processes within the team. To excel in this role, you should have experience with Project Management and Agile methodologies, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit a strong technological acumen. Your ability to recommend new tools, adapt to changing environments, and identify opportunities for process and strategy enhancements will be crucial. Moreover, your proficiency in content management systems, authoring tools, API, DITA/XML, and information architecture will be highly beneficial. As an Information Architect, you will dedicate 8 hours a week to supporting various tasks such as troubleshooting, bug reporting, and maintenance of content management systems. Your role will involve liaising with writers, advocating for business needs, and staying updated on technology trends and processes. In conclusion, as part of the Mastercard team, you will be expected to prioritize information security, adhere to security policies, maintain the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information, and report any security violations promptly.
