As a Lead Cloud Engineer & Cloud Architect specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), your role involves consulting with clients to propose architectural solutions for transitioning infrastructure to the cloud or optimizing cloud expenditure. You will pioneer the adoption of innovative cloud technologies, establish best practices in cloud, automation, and DevOps, and provide thought leadership in the field. Your responsibilities will include: - Consulting with clients to propose architectural solutions for migrating on-premise infrastructure to the cloud or optimizing cloud spend - Experimenting with new cloud offerings and defining best practices in cloud, automation, and DevOps - Enhancing skills and staying updated with emerging technologies to meet evolving client needs - Leveraging expertise in Google Cloud Platform and AWS to develop hybrid-cloud solutions - Providing leadership to project teams and defining project deliverables related to core Cloud technologies - Leading strategic initiatives and enterprise-level projects within the organization - Ensuring adherence to IT standards and methodologies, and delivering high-quality results - Participating in technical reviews and keeping abreast of new technical concepts in Google Cloud Platform - Advising customers on access management, network setup, regulatory compliance, and security best practices - Developing and executing project plans for migrating on-premises applications and infrastructure to cloud platforms - Defining migration strategies considering workload dependencies, data integrity, and business continuity Your accomplishment set should include: - Being a persuasive, articulate Cloud professional with a passion for technology - Demonstrating good business judgment, effective communication skills, and a service-oriented attitude - Exhibiting strong organizational skills, efficiency, and a commitment to quality - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from a reputed institute or equivalent experience - Passion for technology, a strong desire to learn new cloud technologies, and analytical aptitude - 9+ years of experience with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Computing (AWS/GCP) and IT operational experience in a global enterprise environment - 3+ years of proven experience as a GCP Architect - In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases - Familiarity with migration tools, programming against cloud platforms, and lean development methodologies - Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and learning skills Preferred certifications: - Google Professional Cloud Architect,
