As a Lead Cloud Engineer & Cloud Architect specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will play a vital role in our team by utilizing your expertise to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various teams to analyze business requirements, architect GCP-based solutions, and provide technical leadership throughout the development and deployment phases. You will be entrusted with consulting clients and proposing architectural solutions to transition infrastructure from on-premise to the cloud or optimize cloud spend across different public cloud platforms. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of exploring new cloud technologies, defining best practices in cloud, automation, and DevOps, and serving as a thought leader in the industry. It will be essential for you to continuously enhance your skills and stay updated on emerging technologies to meet evolving client needs. Drawing upon your experience in Google Cloud Platform and AWS, you will be responsible for developing hybrid-cloud solutions for customers and leading project teams to define project deliverables and oversee strategic initiatives. You will be instrumental in setting tracking mechanisms, ensuring compliance with IT standards, and delivering high-quality results. Moreover, you will engage in technical reviews of requirements, designs, and code, while staying informed about new technical concepts in Google Cloud Platform. Your role will also involve advising customers on security, risk, and compliance best practices, along with developing and executing comprehensive project plans for migrating on-premises applications and infrastructure to cloud platforms. As an accomplished Cloud professional, you should possess excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and inspire a culture of high-quality standards. For this position, we are looking for individuals with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from a reputable institute, or equivalent programming experience. A strong passion for technology, a keen interest in learning new cloud technologies, analytical aptitude, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results will be highly valued. The ideal candidate should have at least 9+ years of experience, including 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Computing (AWS/GCP) and 3+ years of proven experience as a GCP Architect. Proficiency in GCP services, migration tools, programming against cloud platforms, and lean development methodologies is required. Preferred certifications for this role include the Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.
