Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Lead Bench Sales Recruiter to join our growing team. In this key role, you will be responsible for marketing and placing consultants (primarily in IT) on contract positions with implementation partners, direct clients, and staffing vendors. You will proactively manage a pipeline of bench consultants, build vendor relationships, and work closely with internal recruiting and sales teams to drive placements. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with deep knowledge of the U.S. staffing market and a track record of successful consultant placements across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and IT domains.Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively market bench consultants (H1B, GC, USC, OPT, CPT, etc.) through direct client/vendor relationships, job boards, and professional networks.
  • Build and maintain a strong vendor network to maximise placement opportunities.
  • Conduct detailed intake calls to understand consultants' skillsets, experience, and preferences.
  • Identify suitable job requirements and quickly submit consultants to open roles.
  • Negotiate rates and contract terms with vendors, partners, and clients.
  • Track and manage submissions, interviews, offers, and onboarding activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to manage consultant documentation, onboarding, and compliance.
  • Develop tailored marketing strategies and outreach plans for each bench consultant.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with consultants on and off the project to support redeployment.
  • Stay informed about market trends and technologies to align consultant profiles with high-demand roles.
  • Collaborate with recruiting leadership to refine sourcing, marketing, and placement strategies.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of U.S. Bench Sales experience, including handling H1B, GC, USC, and EAD candidates.
  • Proven ability to place consultants with implementation partners, system integrators, or direct clients.
  • Strong understanding of various IT and non-IT roles, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Product.
  • Experience working with ATS systems and major job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, etc.).
  • Expertise in Boolean searches, resume mining, and sourcing through LinkedIn and other platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple consultants, and work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and compliance.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring a bench sales team.
  • Relationships with Tier-1 vendors and direct client contacts.
  • Familiarity with immigration and visa-related documentation and processes.5+ years of technical and non-technical recruiting experience.
