Job Title: Data Governance (DG) Specialist – Suncorp (Critical Role) Location: Flexible Experience: Minimum 4 years Urgency: Immediate joiners preferred Job Description We are seeking a Data Governance (DG) Specialist to join the Suncorp account in a critical capacity, replacing an attrition case. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing robust data governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance, data quality, and strategic data management. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and standards. Define data requirements, classifications, and ownership models. Manage data access controls and security protocols in line with internal and external compliance requirements. Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance policies. Collaborate across business units to embed data governance best practices. Provide training and documentation for data governance policies and tools. Monitor, assess, and report on the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.
