LE - Openshift (RHPAM) admin

Overview

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters, including upgrades, scaling, security, and backup strategies.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenkins instances, plugins, agents, and build pipelines.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues related to Jenkins, OpenShift builds/deployments, and integrations.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
• Automate infrastructure tasks and deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Helm, Terraform).
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and other DevOps team members to support build and deployment processes.
• Maintain system documentation, operational runbooks, and SOPs.
  

Java or other coding skill is must:-

• Java: knowledge on higher versions of Java i.e; java 8 and above
• Knowledge on producers and consumers
• Hands on experience on spring boot, microservices
• Should be able to write complex queries in Oracle or postgres
• Additional knowledge on any cloud platform would be helpful
• Additional knowledge on Kafka, docker would also be helpful
• Hands on experience in resolving any kind of security issues
