Laundry Manager

• Supervise all laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and distribution.
• Ensure proper handling of fabrics to prevent damage.
• Monitor the workflow to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Recruit, train, and manage laundry staff.
• Create work schedules and assign tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of laundry detergents, chemicals, and equipment.
• Order supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals in compliance with safety regulations.
• Oversee regular maintenance of laundry machines and equipment.
• Schedule repairs or replacements when necessary.
• Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Inspect laundered items for quality and ensure they meet the required standards.
• Address and resolve guest or client complaints related to laundry services.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in the laundry area.
• Implement and monitor procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage departmental budgets and control expenses.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
