Supervise all laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and distribution. Ensure proper handling of fabrics to prevent damage. Monitor the workflow to meet deadlines and quality standards. Recruit, train, and manage laundry staff. Create work schedules and assign tasks to ensure smooth operations. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback. Monitor and maintain inventory of laundry detergents, chemicals, and equipment. Order supplies as needed to prevent shortages. Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals in compliance with safety regulations. Oversee regular maintenance of laundry machines and equipment. Schedule repairs or replacements when necessary. Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently. Inspect laundered items for quality and ensure they meet the required standards. Address and resolve guest or client complaints related to laundry services. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in the laundry area. Implement and monitor procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Manage departmental budgets and control expenses.
