Launch Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing operational and financial performance, ensuring smooth handover of new products to the production team, tracking launch readiness criteria, and managing resource allocation for new product development. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and report on operational and financial performance, facilitate optimization of launch costs, quality, and timelines of projects - Ensure smooth handover of new products to the production team and monitor plant production activity for the first 3 months after SOP - Identify risks in product launch, discuss mitigation plans with the plant CFT, and track launch readiness criteria for every program - Coordinate assembly of parts, ensure sample part availability, provide samples required by the program manager within the target timeline, and check material availability as per BOM - Monitor kitting loading process, provide BOM updates to ME, follow up with relevant stakeholders at each stage of the process, and ensure raw material readiness for new product development - Integrate and resolve inter-team dependencies, cross-verify specifications, coordinate with quality for BOM cross-checking, and liaise with production, CD, ME, and quality teams for smooth handover of new products - Monitor program execution through NPD QA and production teams, identify risks in product launch at every stage, and escalate to the launch Segment head for mitigation plans Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field - Previous experience in project management, new product development, or manufacturing - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities - Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment - Knowledge of launch readiness criteria and risk identification in product launch (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description),
