Laptop Service Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Laptop Service Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing laptops and computer systems, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in laptops and desktops. Perform chip-level repairs, motherboard replacements, screen replacements, and other component-level fixes. Install, configure, and upgrade software and operating systems. Handle virus removal, OS installations, and performance tuning. Provide timely and professional customer support on-site or at our service center. Maintain service logs, reports, and inventory of tools and spare parts. Coordinate with vendors for procurement of components when required. Stay updated on the latest technologies, tools, and industry practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Diploma/ITI/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in laptop/computer servicing preferred. Strong understanding of Windows OS, drivers, BIOS, and diagnostic tools. Knowledge of chip-level and board-level repairs is an advantage. Good communication skills in English and/or local language. Ability to manage time and handle multiple service calls efficiently. Preferred Skills: Basic networking knowledge (LAN/Wi-Fi setup, router configuration). Experience with printer troubleshooting and support. Customer-friendly approach with a service-oriented mindset.
