Landscape Surveyor

The Landscape Surveyor is responsible for carrying out all surveying activities related to landscape works, including setting out, level checking, measurement, and verification of landscape elements in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Surveying & Setting Out

• Perform setting out of landscape works such as softscape, hardscape, irrigation, water features, pathways, kerbs, retaining walls, and site furniture.

• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference levels.

• Check alignment, levels, slopes, gradients, and coordinates as per approved drawings.

Coordination & Execution

• Coordinate with Landscape Engineers, Site Engineers, Foremen, and Subcontractors for accurate execution.

• Verify work before and after execution to ensure compliance with design and specifications.

• Assist in resolving site discrepancies and layout conflicts.

Measurement & Documentation

• Take as-built measurements and prepare as-built drawings.

• Maintain survey records, field notes, and measurement logs.

• Assist the commercial team in quantity verification and billing measurements.

Quality Control

• Ensure works are executed as per IFC drawings, approved shop drawings, and method statements.

• Identify and report deviations, errors, or site constraints.

• Support inspections with consultants and clients.

Health & Safety

• Follow site HSE procedures during surveying operations.

• Ensure safe handling and use of surveying equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Surveying / Geomatics.

• Minimum 3–7 years experience in landscape or infrastructure projects.

• Experience in softscape & hardscape surveying is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Total Station, Auto Level, GPS.

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and interpretation of landscape drawings.

• Understanding of levels, contours, slopes, and drainage requirements.

• Familiarity with irrigation layouts and landscape details is an advantage.

Soft Skills

• Good coordination and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work under site pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
