Job Description

  • Performing Experiments: Conduct experiments and tests, following protocols and procedures established by senior researchers or scientists.
  • Sample Preparation: Prepare samples for analysis, which may involve collecting, labeling, storing, and sometimes processing specimens.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Data Collection: Record and document experimental data accurately, keeping detailed notes of observations and results.
  • Analysis: Analyze experimental data using various methods and techniques, such as microscopy, chromatography, or spectrophotometry.
  • Quality Control: Assist in quality control procedures to ensure accuracy, precision, and reliability of results.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during experiments or with equipment, and propose solutions or escalate problems as necessary.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including handling hazardous materials and following proper disposal procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of supplies and reagents, and order replenishments as needed to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including scientists, researchers, and technicians, to achieve research goals and objectives.
  • Documentation: Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations of experimental findings for review by supervisors or publication in scientific journals.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new technologies, methodologies, and best practices in the field through training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, or biochemistry).
  • Hands-on laboratory experience through coursework, internships, or previous employment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and data analysis software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
