About the Role

L3 Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide

  Level 3 support

  for COBOL (AS400) and .NET platform applications, resolving complex technical issues and managing escalations from L2 teams
• Monitor application performance and stability; proactively identify and mitigate potential risks
• Perform

  root cause analysis

  for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure seamless application integration
• Manage incident, problem, and change tickets with thorough documentation
• Develop and maintain

  support documentation

  , including runbooks, knowledge base articles, and technical guides
• Implement application configurations, patches, and upgrades
• Participate in

  24/7 on-call support rotation

  for critical systems
• Mentor and train L1/L2 support teams to improve overall support quality
• Ensure adherence to

  ITIL processes

  , including incident, problem, and change management

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years

  of experience in Application Support and Maintenance
• Strong hands-on experience with

  .NET applications

  (configuration, administration, and support)
• Experience providing

  L3 support

  and managing high-priority escalations
• Proficiency in

  scripting and automation

  to improve support efficiency

• Automobile industry experience

  with strong exposure to

  Dealer Management Systems (DMS)

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of

  ITIL framework

  and IT service management best practices
• Experience supporting applications in

  large enterprise environments

• Exposure to Java and/or C++ applications is a plus
