Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, deployment, and support for storage, backup, and networking devices systemsInvestigate network issues and bring to resolution within stated SLA parametersProvide root cause analysis to support team and customers upon requestResponsible for planning, implementing, and supporting changes to various infrastructure systemsReview and assist with backup and recovery planning and testingCollaboration with various teams supporting complex environments to troubleshoot issuesEscalation point for support engineersInteract with hardware and software vendors to ensure timely resolution of issuesPeriodic recommendations to clients to optimize performance, availability, and resource consumptionParticipate in training and mentoring of junior team membersDeveloping and maintaining systems architecture and common procedure documentationRequired SkillEducation Associate s or Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field and or equivalent work experienceCompTIA Aplus, CompTIA Network ,certifications5plus years of experience in administration, support, design, and implementation ofNetwork infrastructureExperience with Routing BGP, RIPv2, OSPF, EIGRPExperience with Switching VLANs, Capacity PlanningExperience with WAN (MPLS, VPN)Familiarity with VOIP Wireless Deployments2 to 5 years of support-level experience withSAN technologies such as EMC, Nimble, NetApp, and HPEBackup technologies such as Veeam, Barracuda, eVault, Veritas, BackupExec, and CommvaultVMware virtualization technologyExcellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and oral communications skillsExperience with service delivery in a 24 x 7 x 365 environmentSelf-starter who can work effectively independently as well as in cross functional team environmentsNice to Have SkillsExperience with AWS Route 53, Azure Traffic Manager and Global availability strategiesExperience with Azure ExpressRoute and/or AWS Direct ConnectInfosec experienceCisco or related network certificationsVMware certificationsITIL v4 certification
