Job Summary We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual QA Tester with expertise in the banking domain to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of banking processes, regulations, and compliance requirements, coupled with proven experience in manual testing methodologies. Role As a Manual QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our banking software : Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, banking processes, and compliance standards. Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional specifications. Execute manual test cases to verify the functionality, accuracy, and reliability of banking applications. Perform thorough testing of user interfaces, workflows, and backend processes. Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality. Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in a timely manner. Verify that the software complies with banking regulations, security standards, and industry best practices. Stay informed about changes in banking regulations and update test scenarios accordingly. Work closely with developers and product managers to understand system architecture and functionality. Participate in walkthroughs and provide feedback on system design and requirements. Document test results, defects, and testing progress. Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation for auditing purposes. Assist in setting up and configuring test environments to simulate real-world banking scenarios. Collaborate with IT teams to resolve any infrastructure-related issues affecting : Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester with a focus on the banking domain. Solid understanding of banking processes, financial transactions, and compliance requirements. Knowledge of testing methodologies, testing types, and testing levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
