KYC & Onboarding API Service Engineer

As a KYC & Onboarding API Service Engineer at Barclays, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality, and governance standards. Your role involves spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation, and excellence in order to ensure unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide technical support for the service management function to resolve more complex issues for a specific client or a group of clients. - Develop the support model and service offering to improve the service to customers and stakeholders. - Execute preventative maintenance tasks on hardware and software and utilize monitoring tools/metrics to identify, prevent, and address potential issues for optimal performance. - Maintain a knowledge base containing detailed documentation of resolved cases for future reference, self-service opportunities, and knowledge sharing. - Analyze system logs, error messages, and user reports to identify the root causes of hardware, software, and network issues, and provide resolutions. - Implement automation, monitoring enhancements, capacity management, resiliency, business continuity management, front office specific support, and stakeholder management. - Identify and remediate potential service impacting risks and issues through appropriate processes. - Proactively assess support activities, implementing automations where appropriate to maintain stability and drive efficiency. - Actively tune monitoring tools, thresholds, and alerting to ensure timely issue identification. **Qualifications Required:** - Hands-on knowledge of Unix, Oracle, SQL & Mongo DB. - Experience in L2 Production support for Incident/problem/change management. - Knowledge of ServiceNow and awareness about ITIL. - MIM/triages handling during issues. - Strong stakeholder communication skills. - Good problem-solving abilities. - Flexibility to work in shifts. - Awareness of Alerting and Monitoring tools like App Dynamics / Kibana, etc. - Knowledge on Cloud Platforms is preferred.
