Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily stewarding operations for the central kitchen.
  • Ensure cleaning and sanitization of all utensils, baking trays, mixers, ovens, and workstations in line with food safety standards (FSSAI).
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all production, storage, and dishwashing areas.
  • Oversee proper waste segregation and disposal procedures.
  • Train stewarding staff on cleaning procedures, chemical usage, safety standards, and hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor inventory and usage of cleaning supplies and chemicals; ensure timely requisitions and stock control.
  • Schedule stewarding staff shifts and allocate duties based on operational needs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation SOPs.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely servicing and repairs of kitchen equipment.
  • Support in compliance with audits and regulatory inspections.
