Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a cotton & polyester Knit Fabric Technician, based out of Tirupur.

The Knit Fabric Technician will be responsible for research and testing of knitted fabrics, monitoring fabric quality and processes, and ensuring compliance with client and company standards. The role involves collaboration with design and production teams to develop innovative knitting techniques, troubleshooting issues during manufacturing, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and quality. Regular coordination with suppliers and partners is also a key aspect of the position.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in knit fabric construction, testing methods, and quality control processes
• Understanding of textile and knitting machinery,
• Experience in fabric development, R&D, and innovation in knit fabric production
• Problem-solving and process optimization skills within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology or related field is preferred
• Prior experience in the knit apparel manufacturing industry is must
