Knime Developer

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst position is an intermediate level role that involves participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective in this role is to contribute to application systems analysis and programming activities. As an Application Developer under Finance Technology, you will be responsible for helping in the implementation of the next-generation Digital Automation Platform using Knime, Appian, and Python technologies. You should have relevant design and development experience in process automation using BPM, RPA, or low code automation tools, with expertise in multiformat data processing. Being a strong team player is essential, and exposure to Retail Banking products or Wholesale/Investment banking is preferred. In this role, you will: - Design, develop, and implement process automation use cases using Knime, Appian, Python, and in-house frameworks. - Analyze requirements, interact with Business Users, and provide technical feasibility analysis. - Conduct unit testing, participate in defect triage calls, bug fixing, and demo sessions for business users. - Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects and ensure application development is in line with Citis Coding Standards. - Provide expertise in technical analysis, solve technical issues during project delivery, and learn new technologies used in the projects. - Work in development or BAU teams and contribute to the creation of high-level designs guiding implementation. Must-have skills for this role include: - 6 to 10 years of Technology Experience - Hands-on experience in developing excel, csv & database-based use cases via Knime workflows. - Good knowledge of excel basics, such as pivots and formulas. - Familiarity with Knime Analytics platform 4.5.1 & higher, Knime server version 4.16. - Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team, along with strong communication skills. - Experience with RestApi, JSON, and creating design documents for Knime workflows. Good-to-have skills include Tableau, Appian, Python, and flexibility to learn and adapt to other technologies and Citi-based custom frameworks. Knime L2 Certified professional is preferred.
