Job Summary

The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, maintaining hygiene standards, supervising kitchen staff, controlling inventory, and ensuring timely preparation and delivery of meals. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain consistent food standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Kitchen Operations

  • Oversee daily kitchen activities and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Assign tasks to kitchen staff and monitor performance.
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to company standards and recipes.
  • Maintain stock of food, ingredients, and kitchen supplies.
  • Monitor equipment usage and coordinate maintenance when necessary.

2. Quality & Hygiene Control

  • Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Conduct regular kitchen cleanliness inspections.
  • Maintain temperature logs, cleaning logs, and hygiene checklists.
  • Ensure all dishes meet the brand’s taste and presentation standards.

3. Staff Management

  • Supervise kitchen staff including cooks, helpers, and dishwashers.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage attendance.
  • Maintain a positive team environment.

4. Cost & Inventory Control

  • Manage food wastage and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Monitor daily stock levels and place requisitions as required.
  • Track usage of raw materials and maintain inventory reports.
  • Assist in menu planning and cost control strategies.

5. Customer Service & Coordination

  • Coordinate with service staff for smooth order flow.
  • Assist in addressing customer feedback related to food.
  • Ensure timely and accurate meal preparation and service.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or similar role.
  • Strong culinary knowledge and cooking experience.
  • Good knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
