As a Key Business Developer for the Indian market at Catawiki, you play a crucial role in growing and managing the seller base in the region. You will be responsible for sourcing new leads and supporting existing sellers to ensure their long-term success on the platform. Your responsibilities include: - Lead Generation and Development: Identify and develop leads through various channels such as calls, emails, field visits, fair visits, and collaborations with experts. - Account Management & Growth Planning: Analyze seller performance, advise on strategy, and optimize quality and output for existing sellers. - Onboarding & Sales Facilitation: Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new sellers and provide ongoing support to meet Catawiki's standards. - Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with sellers in the jewellery, gemstone, and diamond sectors across India. - Organic Growth & Market Insight: Stay updated on market trends to identify partnership opportunities and new supply channels. To be successful in this role, you should bring: - Sales Expertise and Industry Knowledge: Proven sales experience within the diamond, gemstones, or jewellery industry in the Indian market with a deep understanding of market trends. - Communication and Relationship Building: Fluent in English and Hindi with strong networking skills to build relationships with sellers. - Sales Mindset and Travel Readiness: Successful track record in achieving sales targets with a willingness to travel across India. - Organizational and Technical Skills: Proficient in using Google tools and sales CRM software with a data-driven approach. - Educational Background and Passion for the Industry: A degree in a relevant field along with a passion for the online industry or jewellery collections.
