Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transport companies to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock control and preventing shortages or excesses.
Supervise and mentor logistics staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance.
Monitor and analyse logistics performance metrics, preparing detailed reports for management.
Handle complex logistics issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in logistics or a related field (SCM).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Diploma or bachelors degree in in a related field is preferred.

Additional Information

The role is based in Bidadi, Karnataka, and may require occasional travel.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
