Key Account Manager / Sr Key Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development

    : You'll be responsible for

    hunting and mining new customers

    for our solar business through product presentations and using various channels like digital media, seminars, and conferences. You will lead pre-sales and business development efforts to meet your targets.
  • Customer & Sales Management

    : Conduct product demos, lead new product launches, and assess customer requirements to provide effective solutions. You'll also lead key

    Value-Selling initiatives

    to improve product volume growth and increase the share of wallet (

    SOW

    ).
  • Strategy & Planning

    : Deliver on sales, pricing, and payment collection for your territory. You will be responsible for consolidating full technical offers for both Greenfield and Brownfield projects and ensuring your

    Sales Funnel

    is consistently updated.
  • Collaboration & Communication

    : You will leverage

    SFDC

    as a key growth tool and collaborate with various functions, including service, supply chain, product management, and marketing, to drive business growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Education

    : A

    B.Tech

    degree with an

    MBA in Sales/Marketing

    from a premier institute is required.
  • Experience

    : A minimum of

    8-12 years of overall experience

    , including at least

    8 years of commercial experience

    and

    6 years of industrial B2B sales

    in allied sectors such as solar, instrumentation, or automation. You must also have

    3-5 years of experience

    with a renowned CRM system like

    SFDC

    , Oracle, or SAP.
  • Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization structure with multiple deliverables.
  • Ability to structure a solution in uncertain situations and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
