Job Description

Role Overview: As a Key Account Manager at Valeo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the competitiveness and compliance of Valeo's offerings with customer expectations and requirements. Your responsibilities will include identifying and understanding customer requirements, setting sales price objectives based on market knowledge, implementing pricing strategies, and collaborating with Key Account Managers in other regions to maintain global pricing consistency. You will drive negotiations during the business acquisition process, deliver commercial insights, guide customers towards recommended actions, and keep the organization informed of negotiation status and competition dynamics. Operating at the regional level, you will negotiate prices, build productivity plans, manage customer relationships during claims and crises, and take actions to reduce overdue items. Your key performance indicators will include order intake, turnover, market shares, price management, and overdue monitoring. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and understand customer requirements - Set sales price objectives based on market knowledge - Implement pricing strategies - Collaborate with Key Account Managers in other regions to maintain global pricing consistency - Drive negotiations during the business acquisition process - Deliver commercial insights and guide customers towards recommended actions - Keep the organization informed of negotiation status and competition dynamics - Prepare budgets and manage reporting of selling prices, order intake targets, turnover evolution, and customer-specific plans such as CDP and MTP - Negotiate prices and build productivity plans at the regional level - Manage customer relationships during claims and crises - Take actions to reduce overdue items - Monitor key performance indicators including order intake, turnover, market shares, price management, and overdue items Qualifications Required: - Passion for shaping the future of mobility - Experience in key account management or related roles - Strong negotiation and communication skills - Ability to understand and meet customer requirements - Proven track record in sales and pricing strategies (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description),
