Job Description

Main Job Purpose

The Key Account Executive (KAE) is responsible for driving strategic sales and distribution initiatives across key accounts in the assigned territory. The role involves managing distributor relationships, optimizing channel performance, and ensuring sustainable business growth through data-driven planning and execution.

Job Summary

  • 28 years of experience in General Trade, Key Account Management, and Channel Sales.
  • Strong exposure to distribution strategy, ROI analysis, and distributor infrastructure planning.
  • Drive sales targets through strategic account planning and execution.
  • Develop and implement territory-level distribution strategies to improve market penetration and service levels.
  • Collaborate with RS/distributors to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend counter-strategies to maintain market leadership.
  • Lead promotional planning and execution aligned with brand objectives and budget.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial policies and legal norms in distribution operations.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum full-time graduation is mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Channel Sales or Key Account Management.
  • Proven expertise in distribution planning, ROI calculations, and RS/distributor management.
  • Experience in strategic sales planning, territory development, and channel optimization.
  • Ability to conduct and manage promotional activities, sales forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Strong communication skills in English and the local language.

Preference for candidates with experience in FMCG, Paints, or Telecom, and familiarity with Gujarat market dynamics
