Junior Supply Chain Coordinator

About the Role:

As a Supply Chain Specialist and Service Coordinator at The Millet Company, you’ll ensure smooth order servicing across all channels — from quick commerce to retail and D2C. You’ll coordinate with operations, logistics, and sales teams to keep deliveries accurate, customers informed, and issues resolved quickly.

It’s a practical, hands-on role suited for someone organized, communicative, and eager to learn how modern FMCG operations work.

Support day-to-day servicing across all channels of The Millet Company — independently ensuring order flow, prompt customer communication, and issue resolution across Quick Commerce, Marketplaces, B2B, Modern Trade, Institutional, and D2C channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Quick Commerce:

Keep an eye on live orders and make sure dispatch happens on time.

Coordinate with delivery and warehouse teams for quick resolutions.

Work with local transport and courier partners for smooth deliveries and returns.

Update simple trackers for daily orders, delays, and replacements.

Marketplaces:

Track order and return status on seller portals.

Help manage customer messages and queries.

Work with warehouse and courier teams to keep shipments ready and correct.

B2B & HoReCa

Confirm and follow up on bulk orders and dispatches.

Prepare and share delivery documents (POs, challans, invoices).

Coordinate with transporters for proof of delivery and pending shipments.

Assist in handling shortages, damages, or returns.

General Logistics Support

Help with transport and courier coordination for all dispatches.

Track packaging and material deliveries from vendors.

Keep simple records for dispatches and freight costs.

What You Should Bring:

Must-have:

1 – 3 years in customer service, operations, or fulfillment support.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and familiar with logistics/courier partners tools.

Process-oriented and reliable with daily follow-through.

Nice-to-have:

FMCG, food, or logistics background.

Prior experience in handling marketplace or D2C operations.

Basic understanding of ERP/WMS tools.
