Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Precast Detailer with proven experience in modelling and detailing precast concrete elements for building structures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of precast construction practices, MEP coordination, and familiarity with international design and detailing standards including US, UK, Canadian, and Indian codes. The role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency in BIM/CAD software, and close collaboration with design engineers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, erection drawings, and reinforcement layouts for precast concrete elements such as wall panels, beams, columns, slabs, stairs, and facades.

• Develop 3D models using Revit / Tekla Structures / AutoCAD ensuring accuracy and constructability.

• Coordinate with structural, architectural, and MEP teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless integration.

• Interpret and apply international standards and client-specific detailing requirements (ACI, PCI, BS, Eurocode, CSA, IS codes).

• Review and extract quantities, dimensions, and schedules for precast components.

• Collaborate with engineers for design intent verification and incorporate markups/revisions efficiently.

• Prepare lifting, handling, and connection details as per project requirements.

• Ensure quality and consistency in all deliverables while meeting project timelines.

• Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical input on precast construction feasibility.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of precast and prestressed concrete detailing practices.

• Hands-on experience with Revit, Tekla Structures, and AutoCAD.

• Familiar with MEP coordination and clash detection in BIM environments.

• Understanding of international codes and standards: o US: ACI, PCI o UK: BS, Eurocode 2 o Canada: CSA A23.3 o India: IS 456, IS 15916

• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.

• Excellent attention to detail and drafting accuracy.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Certification or training in Tekla / Revit / BIM coordination.

• Prior experience with precast building projects (residential, commercial, industrial).

• Exposure to international clients and offshore project delivery.
